The Tallest Building
On The Internet

I led the pitch to win the Mitsubishi Electric business for MRM//McCann. They wanted a digital site that could attract new customers in the US. We threw out the book on the usual site experience, and instead, pitched The Tallest Building on the Internet. Each section of the building highlighted different products that ME offered in different markets.

I left McCann shortly after the site launched, but it continues to be the most successful site ME has ever built, they have expanded it to EMEA and South America and the building keeps getting taller.

First time recognition for this work for MRM/McCann:

Effies • Comm Arts • Contagious • FWA

The tallest building was created out of Legos for Mitsubishi Electric traveling expos.

We created a limited edition Direct Mail series for a very select target of engineers and decision makers. We sent the first one and when you finished it, we sent the next and so on. This was a super effective DM approach for this target with this idea.
